Mozaabi Enterprises (“Mozaabi Enterprises”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a commercial brokerage licensed in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates under License No. 936387, issued by Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website at mozaabienterprises.com and our social media pages, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you.

We are committed to handling personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry form, contacting us via WhatsApp, or responding to one of our advertisements, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

If you have any question about this Policy or about how we handle your personal data, contact our data protection contact using the details above. We aim to respond to every enquiry within 30 days.

2. The personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need in order to respond to you and to operate our brokerage services. Specifically:

a. Data you give us directly

• Identity data — your full name and job title.

• Contact data — your email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and country or emirate.

• Company data — the name of the company you represent, its sector, and its size or market.

• Enquiry data — the content of the message, brief, requirement or opportunity you send us, including any documents you choose to attach.

• Correspondence — records of the communications between us, including email, WhatsApp and social media messages.

b. Data collected automatically when you use the website

• Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from IP address.

• Usage data — the pages you visit, the time and duration of your visit, the links you click, and the website or advertisement that referred you.

• Cookie and tracking data — identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel. See section 6.

c. Data received from third parties

• Advertising platforms — where you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta transmits to us the information you entered on that form.

• Publicly available business sources — company registries, trade directories, corporate websites and professional networking platforms, where we are assessing a commercial opportunity.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religious belief, biometric or genetic data) and ask that you do not send such data to us.

3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis

Purpose - Legal basis under the UAE PDPL

Responding to your enquiry and providing brokerage, sourcing or market-access services - Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Matching your requirement to buyers, suppliers, distributors or partners in our network - Performance of a contract; legitimate interest in operating a brokerage.

Sending you commercial or marketing communications - Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Measuring and improving the performance of our advertising - Your consent (for cookies and tracking) and our legitimate interest.

Maintaining business, accounting and tax records - Compliance with a legal obligation under UAE law.

Preventing fraud, protecting our systems and enforcing our terms - Our legitimate interest in the security of our business.

Where we rely on your consent — for marketing communications and for non-essential cookies — you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We never rent or trade it. We share it only in the following circumstances, and only to the extent necessary:

• Counterparties in a transaction — where the purpose of your enquiry is to be introduced to a buyer, supplier, distributor or partner, we share the information required to make that introduction. We will tell you before we make an introduction on your behalf.

• Service providers — our website host (Wix), email provider, cloud storage provider, and analytics and advertising platforms. Each acts on our instructions and is bound to protect your data.

• Advertising platforms — Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) where you interact with our advertisements or pages. See section 6.

• Professional advisers — our legal, accounting and audit advisers, where required.

• Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by UAE law, by a court order, or by a competent regulatory authority.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the UAE, we do so only where the receiving country provides an adequate level of protection as recognized under the UAE PDPL, or where appropriate contractual safeguards are in place with the recipient.

6. Cookies, the Meta Pixel and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files placed on your device that allow a website to recognise your browser.

• Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function. These cannot be switched off.

• Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

• Advertising cookies — including the Meta Pixel, which allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to understand which advertisements led to an enquiry, and to show relevant advertisements to people who have visited our website or who resemble our existing audience.

The Meta Pixel may transmit to Meta Platforms, Inc. information about your visit, including pages viewed and actions taken. Meta processes this data as an independent controller for its own purposes as well as on our behalf. You can review and control how Meta uses your data through your Facebook or Instagram settings, and through Meta's own privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

You may refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking advertising and analytics cookies will not prevent you from using our website.

7. How long we keep your data

Category - Retention period

Enquiries that do not proceed - 24 months from last contact, then deleted

Active client and counterparty records - Duration of the relationship, plus 5 years

Accounting, tax and licensing records - As required by UAE law — currently a minimum of 5 years

Marketing consent records - Until consent is withdrawn, plus 2 years as proof of consent

Website analytics and advertising data - Up to 24 months, per platform default

 

Where we no longer need your data, we delete it securely or irreversibly anonymize it.

8. How we protect your data

We apply organizational and technical measures proportionate to the risk, including access control on a need-to-know basis, encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), two-factor authentication on business-critical accounts, and confidentiality obligations on everyone who handles personal data on our behalf. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to prejudice your privacy or the confidentiality of your data, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected individuals in accordance with the PDPL.

9. Your rights

Under the UAE PDPL you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your personal data is processed.

  • Request access to a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Request correction of data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Request deletion of your data, where we have no lawful basis to keep it.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

  • Request that your data be transferred to you or to another controller in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

  • Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights have been infringed.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@mozaabienterprises.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 30 days, and will tell you if we need longer.

10. Third-party websites

Our website and social media pages may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always published at mozaabienterprises.com/privacy-policy, with the effective date shown at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

12. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising in connection with it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
